I don't how the new arcade game at Skill Addiction, Jungle Tower, knew I just don't have the rock-steady hands of a brain surgeon, but somehow it does. I just can't get very far stacking the native-carved blocks without the entire stack crashing to the jungle floor. Like it's branch grabbing cousin, Monkie, Jungle Tower is deceptively simple: Create a stack of colorful blocks as high as you can without the entire thing tipping over, thus ending the game. Also as with Monkie, Jungle Tower has no time limit. The higher your stack of blocks, the better your score. However, it takes an amazing talent of hand-eye coordination to time the size of each block, and where it is placed on your stack. If the blocks are smaller or larger than the ones below, your stack won't last very long. And of course, having an uneven stack forces you to carefully compensate, which you wouldn't have had to do in the first place IF your timing was better centering the block.
All in all, Skill Addiction's newest addition to it's line-up of cash games, Jungle Tower, is frustrating and cruel. I truely hate this skill game, and you'll NEVER see me ever playing it for cash, I don't care how fair the levels of play are at Skill Addiction. I know damn well that one of those stacks I was working on had NO REASON TO FALL! But without proof, I am simply left with the simple, humiliating truth: I Suck at Jungle Tower.

After listening to suggestions by members, Skill Addiction has re-designed it's website with a more streamlined look and easier navigation. New additions include one-click Facebook and Twitter connections, and an in-house Chat feature. Skill Addiction has also added a new Action game to it's line-up of casual cash games, Highway Frenzy, where players frantically try to dodge as many parked cars as they can before crashing. And the new game comes with an exciting Free-roll tournament for Premium members. With over $75,000 paid out in winnings, Skill Addiction is positioning itself as a serious contender in the skill gaming arena.

Well, after 6 weeks of playing daily as a plain old token player - or playing for free, I have finally earned my first reward from Skill Addiction trading 2000 tokens for $5. Within 24 hours, I was upgraded to Premium and tried my hand at my first cash games on this website. One of the more recent additions to the site has been one of my favorite games, Spider Solitaire. Like WorldWinner, Skill Addiction has two versions - 1-Suit and 2-Suit. I had practiced quite a bit, so I wanted to see if I had a fighting chance in a real tournament, like a Progressive. It only costs $1.18 to enter (and, of course, you can enter until you are blue-in-the-face, or your pockets run dry - whichever comes first), and so far there was a pretty nice payout for the Top 4 Scores (which may or may not increase to payout others below, depending on how many more times it is played). My best score for the game at SA has been 1483, and while I dunno if it's a good score or not, I have won my fair share of 5-player free token tourneys ... why not give it shot?!
